Shopping online seems pretty safe, but every once in a while a story comes along to remind you that you still need to be cautious with your information on the internet. MCU is adding the new Verified by Visa feature to our debit card so that you have another layer of security while shopping online.
Register
your MCU debit card to be sure you are fully
protected. Once your card is registered, when you are going through the check
out at an online
Verified by Visa merchant, an additional password screen will pop-up before
your card is processed. This helps ensure you will be the only one making
charges with your debit card.
You will need your debit card and ATM PIN in hand to register your MCU debit card. Then you and your debit card can hit the stores, and shop with confidence and security. Even if you don’t shop online often, MCU encourages all of our members to register their MCU debit card to be sure that you are fully protected. All cards on a joint account must be registered separately.
